The Voter List, also known as the Electoral Roll, is a list of all eligible citizens in a constituency who are registered to vote. Maintaining an accurate and updated voter list is crucial for fair and transparent elections.

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of each state prepares and updates the electoral rolls under the supervision of the Election Commission of India (ECI). Citizens can check their inclusion in the list, verify details, and locate their polling station.

 Methods to Search Voter List Online

You can search your name using multiple options on the Voter Services Portal:

  • Search by Details: Name, Relative's Name, Age/Date of Birth, District, Assembly Constituency.
  • Search by EPIC Number: Enter your 10-digit Voter ID number.
  • Search by Mobile Number: OTP verification is required if mobile number is linked.
  • Download Electoral Roll (PDF): Download the entire electoral roll of your constituency.

Steps:

  1. Visit https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/
  2. Click "Search in Electoral Roll".
  3. Choose search method (Details / EPIC Number / Mobile Number).
  4. Enter the required details correctly.
  5. Solve the CAPTCHA and click Search.
  6. Your voter details including polling station will be displayed.

  • Full Name and Father's/Husband's Name
  • EPIC (Voter ID) Number
  • Assembly Constituency and District
  • House Number (optional)
  • Registered Mobile Number (if linked)

Details must match your voter registration records for accurate results.

Important Notes & Tips

  • Always use the official ECI Portal for voter list searches.
  • After finding your name, download your voter slip for polling day.
  • Apply for corrections/updates through Form 8 on the NVSP portal or Voter Helpline App.
  • Apply for new voter registration using Form 6 if your name is missing.
