Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Avail YSR Pension Kanuka?
To be eligible for YSR Pension Kanuka, applicants must meet specific criteria, including:
- Andhra Pradesh Resident: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- Below Poverty Line (BPL): The applicant should belong to a BPL family and possess a white ration card.
- No Other Pension: The applicant should not be receiving benefits from any other pension scheme (with specific exceptions for certain disability/disease categories).
- Family Income Limits:
- Rural Areas: Total family income should be less than ₹10,000 per month.
- Urban Areas: Total family income should be less than ₹12,000 per month.
- Land Holding Limits: Total family land holding should be less than 3.00 acres of wet land OR 10.00 acres of dry land OR 10.00 acres of both wet and dry land combined.
- Vehicle Ownership: Family should not own a four-wheeler (Taxis, Tractors, and Autos are exempted).
- Government Employee/Pensioner Exclusion: No family member should be a Government employee or pensioner.
- Electricity Consumption: Monthly electricity consumption of the family dwelling unit should be less than 300 units.
- Property Ownership (Urban): Family in municipal areas should own less than 750 sq. ft. of built-up residential or commercial area.
- Income Tax Payee Exclusion: No family member should be an income tax payee.
Age Criteria (Category-wise):
- Old Age Pension: 60 years and above (50 years and above for ST category).
- Widow Pension: 18 years and above.
- Weavers/Toddy Tappers/Fishermen/Dappu Artists: 50 years and above.
- Traditional Cobblers: 40 years and above.
- Single Women: 35 years and above (for married women separated/deserted for >1 year); 30 years and above (for unmarried women in rural areas); 35 years and above (for unmarried women in urban areas with no family support).
- Disabled/Transgender/CKDU/ART/Chronic Diseases: No age limit (specific medical conditions/disability percentages apply).
Application Process
Applying for YSR Pension Kanuka
